Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer III to join our team at OneHeart Medical Staffing. This role is crucial for overseeing the implementation and initiation of SCR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the installation and commissioning of SCR systems.
  2. Act as a site engineer, coordinating engineering efforts and managing start-up processes for systems.
  3. Innovate new equipment and methodologies, including the assessment and selection of hardware and software.
  4. Facilitate knowledge transfer to SCR clients through training sessions, documentation, discussions, and presentations.
  5. Utilize extensive SCR experience to mentor new employees on the SCR process.
  6. Propose enhancements for SCR equipment and operational procedures.
  7. Address a variety of technical inquiries from existing and potential SCR clients, as well as new team members.
  8. Generate daily progress reports during system start-ups and field service engagements.
  9. Document customer visit outcomes in trip reports.

Essential Skills:

  1. Proficient in interpreting design information from various documents, including vendor and SCR schematics, operational manuals, and maintenance guides.
  2. Focused on the successful completion of projects.
  3. Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse and evolving project requirements.
  4. Familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial, though not mandatory; willingness to learn is appreciated.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor of Science degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering is required, with a solid understanding of mechanical or chemical engineering principles. Proficiency in languages such as Hindi, Chinese, Arabic, or Russian is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Environment:

This position requires international travel, potentially up to 50% of the time, for extended periods. The Process Engineer must possess resilience and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of international clients.

Supervision:

The individual in this role will operate with minimal supervision, effectively managing a wide array of responsibilities.

Documentation:

Must be adept at handling extensive project documentation and writing procedures and manuals. The ability to recall, locate, summarize, and communicate solutions to inquiries from SCR clients is essential.

Adaptability:

Due to the diverse nature of tasks, the candidate must be highly adaptable to rapidly changing project demands.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering or operations management within industrial processing systems.
  2. Preferred experience with combustion management systems.
  3. Experience with molten metal processing systems is desirable.
  4. This role is highly hands-on, requiring active engagement in process engineering tasks.
  5. International travel commitments of up to 50% are expected.
