Position Summary
As a Community Engagement Specialist, your primary focus will be on cultivating and strengthening the relationships we have with the community. You will represent Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital and play a key role in supporting the Director of Business Development in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our facility's outreach.

You will be involved in creative marketing efforts, managing social media platforms, and collaborating with hospital leaders to organize and participate in community and staff events.

To effectively assist the Business Development Department in boosting brand visibility, expanding market presence, and fostering community relationships, you will need to possess a creative mindset, outstanding customer service abilities, and advanced emotional intelligence, along with superior communication skills.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32 to $38 and is classified as an exempt, salaried role.

While a High School Diploma is a minimum requirement, we are particularly interested in candidates who bring their passion and dedication to the workplace.


A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related discipline is preferred, though a combination of relevant experience and training will also be considered.


Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting, specifically in a Business Development capacity as a Community Engagement Specialist, will enhance your application.
