Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Teijin Automotive Technologies. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our inventory documentation and data entry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily inventory reports, including FG, Raw, WIP, MTD Variance, and Cycle Counts, to provide accurate data to the Materials Manager.
  • Conduct thorough research and make corrections in QAD as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Team to ensure accurate production scans and build plans.
  • Notify Production of any corrections or adjustments that need to be made.
  • Make adjustments to QAD as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Review component receipt accuracy and completion.
  • Monitor outside processor and scrap activities.
  • Ensure completion of intra-company transfer transactions.
  • Develop and implement cycle count programs in accordance with a yearly schedule.
  • Physically count components and log counts on count sheets.
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies in cycle counts.
  • Obtain signatures from the Materials Manager on count sheets.
  • Report cycle counts in QAD and track progress over time.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in QAD and other inventory management software.
