About the Role

The Maintenance Specialist is a key member of the Spartech team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including gearboxes, motors, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or certification a plus.
