Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in detecting peripheral vascular disease and obstructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for the presence of peripheral vascular disease, selecting the most effective diagnostic procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, record patient test results, and report results to physicians.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition, reporting deficiencies or failures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 2-year allied health program or two or more years of technical experience.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiography), or Registered Medical Sonography Tech.
