Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for all individuals entering our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Greet visitors and direct them to their requested destination
- Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to further a positive institutional image
- Respond to general questions and inquiries, and forward non-routine requests to appropriate staff
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as sorting departmental mail and troubleshooting office equipment
- Maintain department directories and visitation logs
- Maintain a tidy and clean reception area
- Place orders for department supplies as requested by department leadership
- Project a professional appearance and pleasant demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures, and safeguard University assets
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- General knowledge of office procedures and operations
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
