Warehouse Operations Specialist

At H-E-B, we're looking for a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse support and clerical duties to maintain facility operations and organization
  • Count and verify inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Verify product ID and quantity against purchase orders, and monitor loading activity to ensure completed orders are loaded as planned
  • Perform workload planning and work with the Load Planning department to modify store deliveries
  • Ensure warehouse inventory is accurate and customers are properly billed
  • Monitor and evaluate the status of Forklift Operators, Stockers, and Order Selectors
  • Coordinate all issues related to facility inventory integrity and product movement
  • Safely operate all material handling equipment within the facility

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse clerical, logistics, or WMS work
  • Comprehensive knowledge of H-E-B in-house systems
  • Working understanding of warehouse shipping and receiving clerical functions
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office
  • Strong math skills
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to operate machines or equipment in a safe and independent manner

Working Conditions:

  • Lift up to 60 lbs repetitively during your entire shift
  • Constantly stand, walk, and squat
  • Constantly work in either a hot or extreme cold environment
  • Work extended shifts
  • Work fluctuating hours and days based on business needs
