Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient and Family Relations Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, families, and staff, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience throughout their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective responses to patient concerns, complaints, and grievances, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and interviews with staff and patients to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and staff to promote a culture of patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address patient concerns, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Document and analyze patient feedback to inform quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in patient relations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
