BASIC PURPOSE: The primary objective of the Cash Management Auditor position is to verify the precision of cash discrepancies in assigned locations by implementing timely and accurate adjustments. Collaborates with various stores and internal teams to ensure adherence to established internal controls and procedures designed to prevent, identify, and rectify cash variances.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 50% of the time will be dedicated to reconciling:
    • Bank Deposits (Recycler/Armored Car/Bank)
    • Physical Check deposits
    • Lottery/Lotto Sales
    • Other Revenue Categories
  • 15% Collaborate with Store Central to analyze, report, and resolve cash discrepancies
  • 10% Examine non-fuel sales and tenders on Retalix/Agility EOD reports
  • 10% Validate and Adjust Paid outs, over dispense, manual fuel, coupons, rebates
  • 5% Partner with GM, OM, DM, DD on Adjustments and reporting issues at stores
  • 5% Coordinate with accounting and operations teams to address additional store-related concerns
  • 5% Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    • Some experience in accounting is highly recommended

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong team collaboration skills
  • Typical Physical Demands
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
