Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Rhino Tool House. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical weldments and pneumatic components to build material handling equipment for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints for mechanical assembly
  • Assemble steel fabricated parts using fasteners
  • Plumb pneumatic assemblies after fabrication and paint
  • Assemble components using fasteners and fittings
  • Perform general housekeeping of the work area
Additional Activities:
  • Fabricate steel using magnetic drills, hand tapping, and grinding
  • Transport steel and assemblies using forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Assist shipping/receiving with steel and component receiving when requested
  • Clean components for painting when requested
Requirements:
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Blueprint reading is a plus
  • Pneumatic assembly experience is a plus
  • Previous use of power tools (magnetic drill, taps, drills, hand grinders, etc.)
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Previous overhead crane experience
  • Hand tool use
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule and overtime work ability
