Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Plan, schedule, and conduct regular sales calls to assigned accounts and territory prospects, arranging meetings for various company professionals to provide multi-level support and build relationships.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrate a customer-centric mentality and drive to understand the needs of both existing and potential new customers, developing sales strategies for territory and assigned accounts.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Communicate and maintain accurate customer forecasts for product usage, coordinating sales efforts to ensure effective sales service, customer relations, and administrative needs.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Obtain and report marketing data for successful achievement of business objectives and strategies, monitoring trends, competitive activity, product development, and market penetration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Independently identify customer needs and work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Business Unit Management, and other staff to deliver marketable products in concert with customer needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on sales experience and knowledge of food ingredients.
  • Skills: Polished customer relations and sales skills, ability to coordinate the efforts of company and customer teams, and establish strong working relationships.
  • Education: BA degree required.
