Job Summary

The Nursing Technician plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by assisting licensed nurses in the treatment and care of patients. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient-focused care, built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed nurses in providing basic patient care, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
  • A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
