Comprehensive Services Manager

Job Summary
The Comprehensive Services Manager will oversee the delivery of comprehensive services to children and families in the Head Start/Early Head Start program. This includes health, nutrition, social services, parent involvement, enrollment, recruitment, and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all formwork in child's packet and initiate Family Partnership Agreement during enrollment process.
- Follow up on Family Partnership Agreement goals with families weekly, or as needed.
- Make home visits to provide support services, as needed.
- Work cooperatively with Site Manager, Family Services Manager, and Specialists to ensure coordinated delivery of services to children and families.
- Attend pre-service/in-service training and regular staff meetings.
- Keep all records current by entering data into Child Plus, and run weekly and bi-weekly reports.
- Complete CACFP quarterly food reviews, and monitor meals to ensure compliance with CACFP standards.
Performance Standards
The Comprehensive Services Manager will be responsible for ensuring that parents are provided opportunities to enhance their own parenting skills, knowledge, and understanding of the educational and developmental needs and activities of their children. This includes providing education and training to parents to prepare them to exercise their rights and responsibilities concerning their child's education, and assisting parents to communicate with teachers and other school personnel.
The Comprehensive Services Manager will also take an active role in community planning and establish ongoing collaborative relationships with community organizations to promote the access of children and families to community services that are responsive to their needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to operate a desktop computer, related software, calculator, printer, copier, fax, and phone.
- Valid driver's license and current CDL.
