We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Motor Operated Valve Tester to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing functional post-maintenance testing, diagnostic testing, and static and differential testing of Motor Operated Valves (MOV's).
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Perform functional post-maintenance testing, diagnostic testing, and static and differential testing of MOV's.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with quality, radiological, human performance, and other programmatic norms for nuclear workers.
- Documentation: Document all work performed, including daily field work activity in the work order/log.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of work and efficiency of processes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years' experience in diagnostic testing, Motor Operated Valve (MOV) and actuator/valve maintenance, and completion of at least two outages as a diagnostic tester.
- Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and proficiency in current version of diagnostic software and required platforms.
- Certifications: Pass and maintain Fitness for Duty requirements and ability to pass a practical and written examination as determined by contractor or client.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
