About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Executive Communications for Security to join our team at ServiceNow. As a key member of our Corporate Communications management team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class crisis communications, preparedness, and execution while striving for agility and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in close partnership with Security teams and other functions responsible for crisis response plans to deliver effective crisis communications.
  • Lead crisis response efforts for internal and external audiences, managing and coordinating recommendations and messaging with internal corporate communications leads.
  • Develop proactive reputation management campaign strategies to diffuse negative news and mitigate risk through the development and execution of a proactive crisis playbook.
  • Actively participate and support the Corporate Communications management team to ensure the quality of communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create common templates, toolkits, and channels to advance streamlined ways of working and deliver globally consistent and locally relevant tools.
  • Run internal approval processes for response materials and support the development of communications materials to keep ServiceNow customers and partners informed of issues.
  • Triage inbound inquiries to the Corporate Communications team and work with SMEs across the business to develop responses.
  • Collaborate with regional PR teams as necessary and ensure consistency with communications standards, policies, and processes for media relations across a global, integrated operating company.
  • Educate and ensure a professional mindset of communications leaders and employees throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of deep communications experience with internal communications, crisis communications, and media relations in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience counseling senior-level executives and activating communications strategy with C-suite executives.
  • Natural storyteller with excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills, able to simplify messages.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing effective crisis communications tools and exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the media environment, with a proven track record building media relationships and shaping stories that drive conversations.
