About the Position

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This involves verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing outgoing shipments, and receiving deliveries at the dock and using warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management: Manage the preparation, creation, retrieval, validation, and storage of documents necessary to support warehouse operations.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Label, pack, and load items for shipment according to specifications, stage shipments for shipping, and accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all items received and shipped via warehouse management and inventory systems, and check receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and ensure the work area and equipment are kept clean and orderly, following prescribed safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure facility is inspection-ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs, and monitor proper inventory requirements in a CGMP environment.
  • Additional Duties: May assist with inventory cycle counts and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School or GED required, Associate's degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, and attention to detail.
  • Competencies: Action-oriented, collaborative, decision-quality, optimize work processes, and situational adaptability.
