About the Position

The Warehouse Training Specialist is responsible for providing on-the-job training to new and existing employees on warehouse floor and forklift operation duties. This role also involves training on the safe use of equipment and powered industrial equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, and inventory systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and be able to effectively communicate training procedures to employees. Additionally, this role requires the ability to maintain training logs and check off training completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate on-the-job training to new and existing employees on warehouse floor and forklift operation duties.
  • Provide training on the safe use of equipment and powered industrial equipment.
  • Train on operations processes and procedures.
  • Educate on safety procedures for safe job performance and equipment operation.
  • Maintain training logs and check off training completion.
  • Assist management with the creation and revision of training materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
