Job Summary

Family and Children's Agency Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician to join our team in the Intensive In-Home Psychiatric Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide intensive clinical strength-based in-home treatment for families in the greater Norwalk/Stamford area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the collaboration of all professionals involved with the child and the family.
  • Assess, treat, and maintain case records and summaries.
  • Deliver crisis response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, rotating on-call with other IICAPS staff.

Requirements:

  • Licensed or license-eligible Master's level clinician with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Bilingual - Spanish speaking required.
  • Experience with children, adolescents, and families with mental health issues strongly preferred.
  • Some evening hours will be required.
  • Awareness of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients served.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and provide home-based supports.
  • Maturity, professionalism, and self-awareness, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to deal with resistance and rejection.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of working families.
