Family and Children's Agency Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician to join our team in the Intensive In-Home Psychiatric Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide intensive clinical strength-based in-home treatment for families in the greater Norwalk/Stamford area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the collaboration of all professionals involved with the child and the family.
- Assess, treat, and maintain case records and summaries.
- Deliver crisis response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, rotating on-call with other IICAPS staff.
Requirements:
- Licensed or license-eligible Master's level clinician with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking required.
- Experience with children, adolescents, and families with mental health issues strongly preferred.
- Some evening hours will be required.
- Awareness of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients served.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and provide home-based supports.
- Maturity, professionalism, and self-awareness, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to deal with resistance and rejection.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of working families.
