As an Engineering Manager at Fusion Optix, you'll be responsible for:
Team Leadership- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and success.
- Cultivate strong communication channels and teamwork within the engineering department and across all functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Leverage your expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles to identify areas for optimization, implement process changes, and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to streamline workflows and optimize production processes.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Solidworks PDM to effectively manage product lifecycle and engineering change processes.
- Provide valuable DFM feedback to the design team, ensuring designs are optimized for efficient manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of engineering specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing instructions.
- Lead and manage NPI projects from conception to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
