Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Summary:
iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling. They will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, integrating new data sources, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Integrate new data sources and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Design and optimize data models and database structures.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and manipulation.
  • Implement and manage big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain necessary security clearances.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and optimization.
  • Additional certifications in big data technologies preferred.
  • Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
