We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the Women & Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the attainment of patient and departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, managing complex patients with minimal assistance.
- Knowledge and Skills: Identify personal learning needs to stay competent in your area of practice, independently perform advanced skills, and assist others in developing their skills.
- Professional Relationships/Leadership: Demonstrate leadership traits that result in positive patient outcomes through group process, and identify areas for improvement based on quality improvement outcomes.
- Quality Improvement/Research: Expand your understanding of the research process and its application to nursing practice.
- Patient Group Knowledge: Possess and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care for patients of all ages.
- Common Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records, demonstrate positive customer service, comply with attendance policies, participate in quality improvement activities, and perform work in a cost-effective manner.
- Credentials: Possess a current Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of hire.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (required), or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience: One year of RN experience (required).
This is a full-time position working nights at the Women & Children's Hospital, located in Charleston, WV.
