Insurance Underwriter

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our team at Information Providers Inc. in Hopkins, MN.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on experience).

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data for insurance underwriting inspections. As an Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for conducting site visits, collecting photographs and measurements, and identifying potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to collect data for insurance underwriting inspections
• Analyze data to identify potential risks and hazards
• Collect photographs and measurements of properties
• Identify building materials and assess risk
• Upload collected data into an internet-based platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, or engineering)
• 2+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable vehicle for traveling to site visits
