Responsibilities
Your Role: In addition to collaborating with an EXCEPTIONAL Team, here are some key responsibilities you will undertake:
- Deliver nursing care and administer medications to clients based on personalized care plans, physician directives, and urgent needs, while documenting clinical notes in the patient's medical record.
- Oversee daily nursing operations and collaborate with the Center Director to support care staff.
- Conduct assessments and monitor clients' vital signs and reactions to treatments and medications, promptly reporting any irregularities to physicians.
- Coordinate care with other service providers (e.g., Dietary, Pharmacy, Dental, Rehabilitation, Physical/Speech/Occupational Therapy, Audiology, Durable Medical Equipment).
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, mobility, arrivals and departures, and social engagement.
- Ensure that our clients receive care in a nurturing and joyful atmosphere.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Active RN License, CPR certification, and a valid malpractice insurance policy
- Minimum of one year of full-time equivalent experience in a licensed healthcare setting.
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals and/or adults with disabilities is strongly preferred.
- This position requires physical activity; therefore, you must be capable of:
- Pushing, pulling, squatting, turning, pivoting, transferring, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods while providing physical assistance to clients.
