Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Nelson University in Waxahachie, TX. As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a critical role in providing support in various areas of the dining room and servery line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Tear-Down: Set up and tear down salad bars, dessert stations, condiments, coffee, drinks, and waffle bars to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Stocking and Replenishment: Stock all beverages, cereal, utensils, cups, and bowls throughout meal periods to maintain a well-stocked and efficient operation.
  • Equipment Operation: Understand and operate drink machines, waffle equipment, and soft serve machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in assembling products to be prepared for meal service, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Break down, clean, and sanitize server and kitchen prep areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Portion Control: Follow proper portion control procedures to ensure that all food is served in the correct quantities.
  • Dining Room Tasks: Prepare setup and clearing of dining room tables for each meal, ensuring that the dining area is clean and ready for service.
