Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Development
- Design and implement high-performance computing solutions to support research-intensive applications.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Project Management and Consultation
- Lead project planning and implementation activities to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation and presentations to stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on technology strategies and approaches to support business objectives.
- Operational Support
- Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support to research staff and faculty.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement processes for incident management and problem resolution.
- Contribute to the development of technical training programs for research staff and faculty.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Three years of experience in IT, with a focus on research computing and infrastructure development.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of high-performance computing, cloud computing, and data analytics.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
