Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients, ensuring a safe and effective environment.
- Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures, diagnostic tests, and education in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
- Record patient information and maintain departmental records.
- Collaborate with physicians, house staff, and other healthcare disciplines to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in precepting new employees and student clinical rotations.
- Education: Successful completion of a 2 or 4-year Respiratory Care Program.
- Licensure/Certification: Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and National Board of Respiratory Care credential indicating RRT or CRT.
- Experience: Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
