The estimated annual salary for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000, based on industry standards and market data.

Job Summary

\

This Service Desk Specialist position involves providing technical support for IT-related problems, performing troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. You will also document and communicate outage information to co-workers and customers, execute scripts, and correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services.

\

Key Responsibilities

\
  1. Provide tier 1 level support for IT-related problems, including phone and online support to users
  2. Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
  3. Document and communicate outage information to co-workers and customers
  4. Execute scripts and open/close tickets as necessary
  5. Correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services

Requirements

\

To be considered for this role, you must have:

\
  • A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) and 3 years of relevant experience
  • An active DOD Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+)
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
\

Desirable Qualifications

\

Prior experience in IT customer service, including 2 years of IT ticketing system experience and 1 year of experience in remote desk takeover tools and usage, is desirable.
