Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp PACU to join our team at SCA Health. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the preoperative to postoperative phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and hemodynamic stability
  • Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia plans of care, including pain and comfort management, wound care, and fluid management
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects
  • Act as a patient advocate and maintain confidentiality of individuals and health information
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required
  • Current state licensure to practice within good standing
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment
