Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a skilled Device Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Device Registered Nurse, you will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities- Document lead and device performance, including anomalous behavior and/or malfunction of device system components.
- Utilize clinical information and computer systems effectively, including internet and Intranet, time-keeping system, and other systems appropriate to the area.
- Take responsibility to facilitate improvements in patient services, staff/physician relationships, and the working climate.
- Perform or assist with cardiac rhythm management device evaluation via device interrogation and analysis of data.
- Facilitate optimal clinical effectiveness of the device through the application of technical knowledge and skills to evaluate device function.
- Plan and implement appropriate device surveillance at intervals based on individual patient requirements and recommended guidelines.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and support students' experiences as requested.
- Take responsibility for own education and maintaining licensure.
- Graduate from a credited School of Nursing.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3 years of cardiology experience preferred (critical care, ED, cardiology office, cardiac cath. lab, EP lab, or related experience).
- Professional, customer-friendly, and team-oriented.
- Self-motivated, independent, organized, and able to prioritize work.
