Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business by presenting and selling fiber services to businesses through outbound calls and visits.
  • Negotiate upsell opportunities with existing customers to increase revenue and reduce churn.
  • Consistently engage with the existing customer base to renew contracts and guarantee revenue over a term.
  • Perform customer support tasks to ensure delivery of services and meet customer expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a strong community presence through local events and networking.
  • Perform ROI assessments for profitability and submit for approval.
  • Work with Sales Engineers, Operations, Construction, and IP Engineering to determine solutions for commercial customer opportunities.
  • Ensure product pricing reflects corporate pricing structures.
  • Develop and maintain sales plans.
  • Develop knowledge of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), networking, consultation, negotiation, and sales skills through completion of required training programs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months sales experience required.
  • 1 year or more sales experience of telephony, data, and video systems preferred.
  • Ability to sell based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
