UnityPoint Health is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing learning needs and developing education plans to meet the needs of our service line and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate clinical orientation for staff in collaboration with Unit Based Educators and leadership.
- Coordinate and assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of education provided to staff using formal and informal teaching methods.
- Analyze program evaluations for areas of improvement or opportunities to augment learning.
- Perform needs analysis to determine learning needs from system issues.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Nursing Education or commitment to obtain within 2 years.
- Three years in clinical specialty with experience in educational programming.
- Current licensure as RN in state of Iowa.
- Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
