Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Medical ICU/Progressive Care Unit Nursing Education Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our nursing education team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, students, and community organizations. Your expertise in acute care nursing and education will enable you to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, students, and community organizations.
  • Provide clinical instruction and mentorship to nursing staff and students.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nursing education and acute care.
  • Maintain a broad base of current clinical and theoretical concepts of professional nursing practice.
Requirements:
  • Current State of Iowa licensed registered nurse.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required or actively enrolled in an MSN program. Degree in Nursing Education preferred.
  • Minimum three years acute care clinical nursing experience.
