Job Summary

The Admissions Assistant (Non Nurse) plays a vital role in facilitating the admission process at Life Care Center of America. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and enter all necessary admission paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families during the admission process.
  • Assist with follow-up visits and interviews with new patients after admission.
  • Conduct facility tours for potential and newly admitted patients, families, and visitors.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  • Assist with the evacuation of patients in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Utilize reasoning skills and good judgment to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
