Job Summary:

Gateway Foundation is seeking a skilled Admissions Counselor II to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the admission process, conducting interviews, and preparing initial treatment plans for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating admission into treatment programs
Conducting comprehensive assessments and preparing initial treatment plans
Determining eligibility for insurance coverage or medical assistance
Completing admission forms and obtaining necessary consent signatures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and life experience
Current certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in the state of hire
Minimum 2 years of previous experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling
