Help Desk Customer Service Representative

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Help Desk Customer Service Representative to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our globally growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, and case management systems.
  • Log and maintain accurate records of software and hardware issues, and provide solutions or workarounds to customers.
  • Represent the company in global forums and training sessions, and participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration with peers.
  • Escalate complex issues to internal or external support resources and subject matter experts as needed.
  • Support customers in using our software platform, providing necessary advice and walk-throughs.
  • Identify self-service documentation gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage multiple cases daily, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in an IT environment, with a strong technical background and ability to learn and absorb technology quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Prior experience working in a helpdesk environment, with a strong track record of resolving end-user issues on a first-call basis.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
