Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist III to join our team at Bekum America Corporation, the world's leading designer and builder of extrusion blow molding machines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards, planning machining operations, and configuring and operating CNC mills and lathes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and coordinate machining operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Configure and operate CNC mills and lathes, including setting up tools and entering instructions.
  • Verify settings and maintain specifications through measurements and quality assurance procedures.
  • Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to ensure accurate machining results.
  • Load machines with work pieces and produce machined parts to specifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in machining; skilled-trades certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in conventional and CNC equipment, with ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T.
  • Experience in tooling for blow molding processes and mold modification.
  • Competence in both metric and inch systems.
  • Must possess personal hand tools for job performance.
