Acute Medical and Progressive Care Unit Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medical and Progressive Care unit (D6/5) at Epic Travel Staffing.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who provide comprehensive and specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients. As an Acute Medical and Progressive Care unit nurse, you will have the chance to work within the #1 lung transplant program in the nation and gain valuable experience in caring for patients with complex medical diagnoses.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, be able to communicate effectively with care teams, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
  • IMC experience required.
  • ICU experience considered, but must be willing to work with non-ICU patients.
  • Transplant and trach experience required.
  • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
  • Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.

We offer competitive pay rates, with an estimated weekly salary of $2468 per week based on qualifications and experience. This position is open to travel nurses who are willing to relocate for assignments.
