Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients, helping them to recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operated jointly by Lifepoint Health in partnership with UW Health and UnityPoint Health – Meriter. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' goals and needs
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track patient progress and outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in state
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR card
