Radiology Team Leader MRI Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Team Leader to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Radiology Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of patient care and imaging functions within assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinates and supervises the delivery of patient care and imaging functions within assigned locations.
- Works within the Scope of Practice of his/her specialty.
- Maintains technical competency and provides day-to-day supervision for an assigned radiology modality.
- Ensures that all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed by qualified and competent staff, are of the highest quality achievable and follow the radiation safety principles of ALARA, ACR Guidelines for imaging practices, and ACR Guidelines for MRI Safety, if applicable.
- Works directly with lead technologists and front line staff to solve problems and reduce barriers to success.
- Works collaboratively with others to ensure a high level departmental safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Responsible for the clinical functions and processes for assigned Radiology area.
- Responsible for managing/coordinating ACR accreditation of assigned locations, if applicable.
- One of the following certifications is needed upon hire: ARRT(N), ARRT(R), ARRT(S), NMTCB, ARDMS.
- In lieu of bachelors degree, 4 additional years of medical imaging experience will be accepted.
- Specialty Registry in at least one of the following within 24 months of hire, if applicable to area being supervised: ARRT in Mammography, ARRT CT, ARRT MRI, ARRT CV or VI or CI.
