Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist or Medical Assistant to join our team at the Bone & Joint Institute of South Georgia. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and nurses in delivering top-notch orthopedic services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist with in-office procedures, such as wound care, casting, and splinting, under the guidance of our physicians and nurses.
  • Provide radiologic images as directed by our physicians, maintain radiology equipment and supplies, and assist with clinical duties as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education courses and attend training sessions as requested.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist license preferred; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) considered.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred; previous Orthopedic experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a cheerful attitude and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to enter data into our computer system accurately, with good spelling and typing skills (40 WPM).
  • Fast-paced self-starter with high organizational skills and attention to detail.
