Role Summary: We are seeking a full-time Computer Systems Analyst, Journeyman. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in software engineering, encompassing the design, coding, testing, and documentation of computer programs. Familiarity with the principles, practices, and procedures involved in the applications/systems lifecycle development, engineering, programming, or analysis is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate scientific, engineering, business, and other data processing challenges to enhance and optimize computer systems.
  • Assess user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate or refine existing systems while reviewing computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling constraints.
  • May evaluate or suggest commercially available software solutions.
  • Conduct analysis and design of business systems for various applications, including financial, accounting, human resources, and other enterprise systems.
  • Manage test scripts and service requirements; collaborate closely with end users during project development and implementation.
  • Possess a solid understanding of relational database environments, structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and cost accounting to effectively plan the system.
  • Define the inputs required by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to fulfill user needs.
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to assist management in determining the financial feasibility of proposed systems.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field or, at a minimum, an Information Technology (IT) Certification.

Certifications: Candidates must possess a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Clearance Requirements: Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is mandatory.
