About the Opportunity
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching medical students, medical residents, fellows, and advanced practitioners within the Health System and the VA Medical Center.
- Participating as an active member of the Penn Graduate Programs based on their research role.
- Developing a clinical and/or translational research program with evidence of previous scholarly productivity.
- Providing management and/or leadership in education and systems improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
- M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Expertise in medical care for a diverse patient population with advanced pulmonary diseases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest and experience in education and systems improvement initiatives.
