Job Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, and simulating the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The ideal candidate will create, conduct, and maintain training programs related to EMR, integrating new processes with existing procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Camtasia and Captivate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and select courseware design software and training techniques to be used.
  • Design training program collateral and develop online courseware and assessments that support specific work requirements.
  • Adapt training design materials to align with user level of responsibility and analyze operational processes and workflows essential to curriculum design.
  • Build, test, and maintain the training environment and conduct training/instruction of EMR applications, methods, and processes.
  • Develop and manage project tasks on EMR, ensuring the development/creation of training programs and identifying required activities and task dependencies across departments.
  • Develop short and long-term training schedules and manage updates to policy and procedure documentation related to training.
  • Provide user support and serve as a liaison with the user community on problem solving and identifying improvements to new and existing operational systems.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • No prior experience required, but Epic certification within six months from date of hire is preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The salary range is $43.10 per hour, and pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity. The work assignment type is hybrid, and the location of the job is in the US, specifically in Morrisville, NC.
