We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher and Pre-Engineered Systems Technician to join our team at Summit Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and service on a variety of fire protection equipment, including portable fire extinguishers, kitchen fire suppression systems, and emergency lighting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on fire protection equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and recommend additional sales and service opportunities to existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection or a related field.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, work overhead, and work in tight spaces.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
