About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Unit Coordinator for the 3-North Medical Telemetry Unit at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
  • This unit provides medical telemetry, observation, cardiac monitoring, and treatment for low-risk chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure.
  • You will demonstrate expertise in nursing practice, provide clinical leadership, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
