Clinical Coordination Manager

Brenau University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordination Manager to support the Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical experiences for nursing students, collaborating with faculty and leadership to ensure high-quality clinical education standards, and developing and maintaining relationships with clinical partners.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate clinical experiences for nursing students, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and university policies.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and implement clinical education standards, curriculum materials, and accreditation reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners, including site coordinators, administrators, and lead faculty.
- Oversee the onboarding, orientation, and coordination of clinical adjuncts and preceptors, ensuring compliance with university, college, and departmental policies.
- Manage ACEMAPP or other designated clinical tracking software, developing methods for assessing clinical sites and preceptors.
- Assist with long-range planning, preparing materials for periodic program reviews, accreditation reports, and other external reviews.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clinical partners based on the needs of the program chairs and coordinators.
- Manage the request for all new clinical rotations with all new and existing health partners.
- Oversee the onboarding, orientation, and coordination of clinical support staff, ensuring compliance with university, college, and departmental policies.
- Recommend budgetary considerations for programmatic clinical experiences to the Director and Program Chairs.
- Participate in planned recruiting activities and adjunct faculty retention activities as assigned by the Director and Program Chairs.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred and prior experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses, clinical practice of nursing, diverse organizational environments, and types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives.
The Clinical Coordination Manager will work in an office environment, requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer are expected, as well as the ability to walk short distances and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects is also required.
Travel Requirements- Travel between campuses in Gainesville and Norcross from time to time.
- Occasional travel to clinical partner sites.
May be subject to pre-employment criminal history background checks, random credit checks, MVR, drug screens, and criminal history checks. Proof of professional degree, license, or certification may be required for certain positions.
