About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As an embedded software/firmware developer, you will be working on next-generation Digital door Lock products, developing embedded firmware applications in BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and other network technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and debugging the code, writing automated unit test scripts on features developed/integrated, working with co-developers in code review, code optimization, power management, etc.
  • Participate in code review process, unit testing, feature integration work, and assist team workers with best coding techniques in building best embedded firmware applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of complex, multi-threaded embedded IoT applications.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • 3+ years of work experience in an embedded environment.
  • Experience in design, development, and testing of complex, multi-threaded embedded IoT applications, and communication protocols via I2c, SPI, UART, and others.
