About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our Renewables team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Madison, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and performing all aspects of civil design and technical solutions for utility-scale renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform all aspects of civil design and technical solutions for utility-scale renewable projects.
  • Provide leadership, management, and mentorship for the design team.
  • Define project tasks, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct team meetings and coordinate with other professional disciplines to execute successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and provide support with project proposals.
  • Prepare budget on assigned projects and review invoicing under the direction of a Project Manager.
  • Identify additional scope and revenue opportunities that relate to the project and participates in business development activities.
  • Provide on-going communication with the client related to the project.
  • Establish goals for project deliverables and maintain QA/QC goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Must have 5-8 years of experience in discipline within the Engineering industry.
  • Must be detail oriented and efficient in problem solving.
  • EIT certification required, PE preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with department personnel and office staff; must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Extensive experience in county and state permitting preferred.
  • Good mentoring skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Possess the ability to change focus quickly during a typical day.
  • Positive and solution orientated approach to problems.
