About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Renewable Energy team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. As a Site Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop site engineering plans for renewable energy projects, including array grading, road grading, and stormwater management facilities.
  • Conduct due diligence and site investigations to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for project development.
  • Develop specifications and details for project implementation.
  • Prepare permit applications and support construction administration.
  • Design and produce engineering plans and documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Provide day-to-day support in developing engineering designs and plans for renewable energy projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Engineer-In-Training or on track to obtain the certificate.
  • 0-3 years of civil engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is a must.
  • Civil 3D and AutoCAD drafting experience is a plus.
  • Solar or Wind Background is a plus.
