Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure accurate loading and unloading of materials.
  • Identify material locations from the pick list within the yard or warehouse.
  • Determine stacking requirements for materials, including double stacking when necessary.
  • Utilize yard maps to navigate and locate products efficiently.
  • Guide truck drivers for safe loading and unloading procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class and test.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Capability to read and interpret a pick list.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
  • Must pass a fit-for-duty physical examination.
  • Ability to lift up to 76 lbs. unassisted.
  • Willingness to operate Track Mobile (Locomotive) in a rail environment.
